I learned the values of hard work and responsibility while growing up in Morganton. As someone who has been a public servant for 42 years, I understand the call to action and the unwavering commitment required to faithfully protect, honor and serve this great nation. I am both a retired Air Force veteran and federal civil service employee. The leadership roles and management skills I possess have served me well along the way.
Now, I have another calling: to step up and serve the people of Valdese…the place my wife and I have called home for more than seven years. I want nothing more than to see this town prosper and help lead Valdese into an exciting future.
If elected as your Mayor, my commitment to you is to be available and approachable. One who will listen to different perspectives and offer solutions to town issues. Help strengthen our community by promoting local businesses and attracting new ones. I will be a strong advocate for our public safety needs and town employees. I believe in responsible governance. We must be good stewards of public funds entrusted in our care. Together, we can make Valdese stronger. This is why I want to be your Mayor and respectively ask for your vote.
